I was a little concerned that this might be fragile, and I would be afraid to wear it. That's not the case. The glass is thick enough to handle ordinary use, but not too heavy. And it does have that shimmery butterfly glow to it.
I do wish it was just a little bit longer.

I got the orange butterfly necklace for my niece. It was bigger and heavier than I expected. The color was not as vibrant as the picture and did not have much pattern. The chain was nice but I would not buy the orange butterfly again as it was nothing special. I was disappointed by its bland look.

I bought this as a gift for my friend and she loved it. She collects butterflies and loved how unique this one was and thought it was the perfect gift. I thought the actual necklace was much nicer then the picture.

I gave the glass butterfly to my niece to use anyway she liked -- as light catcher, necklace, hanging decor. She loved it and wore it to church on Christmas morning. She's happy with it, so I'm happy, too.
