Museum Provenance
The cast skeletons of Jurassic titans—including the herbivore Triceratops and the carnivore Tyrannosaurus rex—face off in our National Museum of Natural History’s Dinosaur Hall. Though the lance-like horns and bony skull frill of the Triceratops would have made it difficult, the fearsome T. rex was happy to have him for lunch.
Every Smithsonian purchase will arrive with a museum provenance card explaining how it is adapted from or inspired by an object or objects in our collection.
These are paper thin. The kids can't wear them when its cold because they would freeze. They don't want to wear them when its warm because it's not short sleeves. This material would be better suited for workout gear. The design is fun, I just wished they had used normal material.

Dino-loving preschooler relative only wears comfortable, non-itchy clothing, so may not like the way the shirt feels. Not a sweatshirt or otherwise fleecy garment, as the term hoodie might imply, but a thin, lightweight and seemingly non-breathable nylon fabric. Seems cheap, especailly for the price..

My grandsons couldn't wait to wear their "dino" shirts to school. They loved them and their teachers let them demonstrate the arm motion to make the scary faces. I was a little disappointed at how thin the material is but they did wash and air dry fast. Also, the sizes 6 and 8 were a little snug for a "not quite" 5 year old and a 6 1/2 year old. Both boys are slender but they won't be wearing these shirts for loo much longer. If I recommend them to a friend I will tell them to order a couple of sizes up.

This was a gift for my grandson. He outgrew his first shirt. This shirt is made for the thin frame. My grandson is six years old and I had to buy size 10, so it would not be tight.
