Our family lost my brother two years ago. He often painted owls. After this owl arrived, I happened upon a ink drawing my brother did of an owl. I was surprised to realize the owls had the same pose and were like a similar mirror impression of each other. The owl is not big. He is just the right size and is a sweet addition to any home.

A nice owl sculpture to add to any collection, although it could have been called a Burrowing or Richardson's Owl as well as a Saw-Whet. It has an attractive, rustic like patina, is very sturdy and stands without any problem.
