Great gift for the cat lover and anyone with a quirky sense of style. Love the wonderful color contrast between the red rims and black cats.

Only concern was the way item was packaged for mailing. Shipping box was not even able to be closed properly. Had tape over gap. The items were in bubble envelops with cardboard separaters so nothing was damaged but still concerned me.

It's great for soups. I purchased the mugs last year for my wife as one of her Christmas presents and this year I got the plates on sale, again for a present for my wife.

i like these plates a lot - the red color is bright, the cats are cute. i guess i didn't read the description well enough, though; they are smaller than i expected. 8", more like lunch or dessert plate size. i've used them a lot though so i'm glad i got them.

In a world with a multitude of cat-themed products, these plates have class. The colors are vibrant and the poses depicted truly capture the essence of a cat's personality. (I think my own cats, Palmer and Henry, would agree.) Although they are beautiful enough to save for special occasions, I intend to use them more frequently to make each day special!
