When I received this I thought it was lovely. Unfortunately, it is hard to put on and nearly impossible to take off, thanks to the nasty little lobster clasp. I actually hurt my thumbs trying to take it off. In the process of taking it off, the leather end came out of the finding. It's a shame, because it is otherwise quite attractive. I can only recommend this for women who have someone to undo it.

I don't understand why so many of the necklaces sold here have this type of clasp when there are other types that are equally secure and much easier to use. I bought another necklace from this site with a hook and circle clasp that is lovely and easy to use.

The black leather, silver, and pearl design is unusual and attractive, but unfortunately these elements aren't properly connected. The leather band pulled away from the clasp the second time this was worn, not a happy moment for a birthday gift I gave my wife. This happened on an airport shuttle train, and the whole bracelet would have been lost had not another passenger noticed it on the floor. I've returned it for a refund. The bracelet is not recommended. Possibly the necklace has a similar problem.
