Museum Provenance

This Double Gourd Vase is inspired by an object in the ceramics and glass collections of our National Museum of American History, Behring Center. Holdings include many ceramic vases with traditional shapes and glazes from different periods in history and various locations in the world. Red was important in Asian art collecting.
